Beyond Health Physiotherapy – Clinic Policies

Payment Information

Beyond Health Physiotherapy is a privately operated clinic, and all consultations are provided on a feeforservice basis. Payment is required at the time of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, credit cards, cash and HICAPS/Tyro Health for onthespot health fund rebates. WorkCover, TAC and DVA claims are billed directly to the appropriate insurer.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Your appointment time is reserved for you. Late cancellations or missed sessions limit our ability to offer care to others.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, as well as failure to attend without notice, will incur a fee equal to 100% of the consultation cost.
Outstanding fees must be paid before further bookings.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid delays for other clients. Arriving after your appointment time may result in the full fee being charged.

Consent to Treatment

By attending the clinic, you consent to assessment and treatment appropriate to your condition, which may include manual therapy, dry needling, taping and exercisebased rehabilitation.

You may:

  • Ask questions at any time
  • Decline treatment
  • Request a second opinion
  • Provide feedback

Physiotherapy may involve minor risks such as temporary soreness or softtissue irritation. Relevant information may be shared with your GP or specialist when needed for your care.

Billing

All fees must be paid on the day of service. Payments can be made in person or by phone (credit card only). Requests for special billing arrangements must be submitted in writing to the Practice Director.

Privacy & Communication

Your personal information is used to support your treatment and may be shared with other healthcare providers involved in your care.

We may contact you via SMS or email for:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Follow-up communication
  • Clinic updates, newsletters or service information

You may opt out of nonessential communications at any time.

Liability

Beyond Health Physiotherapy is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising from treatment except where caused by negligence.

Zero Tolerance Policy

At Beyond Health Physiotherapy, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for our clients and staff. To maintain this standard, we enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy for inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour.

We will not tolerate:

  • Abusive, aggressive or threatening behaviour toward any staff member or client
  • Verbal abuse, including shouting, swearing, intimidation or discriminatory language
  • Physical aggression of any kind
  • Harassment, bullying or unwanted physical contact
  • Damage to clinic property
  • Repeated non-compliance with clinic policies, including payment terms and appointment attendance

Any behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of our team or other clients may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the appointment
  • Refusal of future services
  • Removal from the premises
  • Reporting to authorities if necessary

Our team deserves to work in a safe and respectful environment, and we appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards.
